Andrew was born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. He journeyed to the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) where he earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry. Andrew’s career experience stems from working in the community banking industry; having graduated from TowneBank’s Management Associate Program in 2008. During his career at Towne, he was involved in Real Estate Finance, Risk Management, Marketing, Retail Banking, Small Business Underwriting/Credit Analysis, and lastly fulfilling a role as a Commercial Lender in the community. During his tenure at TowneBank, he completed his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) focused in Marketing and Finance from Old Dominion University (ODU) and a Virginia Bank Management School degree from the University of Virginia (UVA), where he also served as President of his class. Andrew joined the MacDonald & Ingram Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2014; then transitioned to Beacon Harbor Wealth Advisors when it began operating in the spring of 2019. He is a member of the Beacon Harbor Wealth Advisors’ Investment Committee and assists in investment research for the firm. Andrew is a Senior Wealth Advisor that works with families and businesses striving to encapsulate a detailed wealth management plan for life events and goal-oriented investing. Aside from financial advising, Andrew enjoys spending time with his Labrador - Maverick. His outside activities include: running, biking, golfing, and celebrating the fact that the Chicago Cubs finally won the World Series! Andrew attends Trinity Church and is the founder of the Young VMI Alumni Association of Hampton Roads and is a local VMI Board Member of the Tidewater Region Chapter.
