Heather moved to the Hampton Roads area to attend college where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services Counseling with a Minor in Speech Pathology and Communicative Disorders at Old Dominion University. After marrying her college sweetheart, Heather raised a family of three and established strong roots in Virginia Beach. She then entered the work force with the Virginia Beach Public School System and accumulated 10 years of experience educating and meeting the diverse needs of the special education community. Heather held positions as an Early Literacy Instructor and a Special Education Assistant Teacher before becoming an Assistant Teacher for the Hearing Impaired. Along the way, Heather was recognized for outstanding performance on many occasions, including receiving the Assistant Teacher of the Year Award in 2017. She joined Beacon Harbor Wealth Advisors in the fall of 2022, where Heather currently serves as a Client Service Associate. Her responsibilities include customer service, client communications, preparing client performance reports and reviews, and general office support. Heather enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and attending Trinity Church.
